Prior to DVDC’s ownership, Cannon Street Apartments and Satterfield Court were owned by the Town of Chestertown. The redevelopment of these two communities, comprising 22 total units, included acquiring the land from the Town and performing a substantial rehabilitation. Building envelopes were made more energy efficient by upgrading the insulation and installing new roofs, windows, and doors. In addition, all of the units received complete bathroom and kitchen renovations, including new appliances, drywall repair and new fixtures.
